Solid Edge Engineering Design Competition 2017 in South Korea

Siemens PLM Software held successfully ‘Solid Edge Engineering Design Competition 2017’ for university and graduate students, which started from Aug 1st to Nov 17th, 2017. Final 10 winners were awarded by Gold, Silver and Bronze.


It is 2nd year of Solid Edge Engineering Design Competition, total 97 students registered who from 84 universities with 30 submissions. Gold prize winner, Sun Keun Oh from DongSeo University designed Electric car and participated in KSAE(The Korea Society of Automotive Engineers) Formula competition 2017 with this design. He said “I learned Solid Edge 2 years in university and feel Solid Edge is easy to learn and able to design precisely. It’s very user-friendly tool ever!”

Bui The Bao is foreign student in Changwon University from Vietnam, designed FRONT END LOADER. It’s first time for him to use Solid Edge and 3D modelling, he is satisfied with the result and got prize of the competition also.
