Siemens Startup Bootcamp
Siemens Xcelerator for Startups aims to empower entrepreneurs to make an impact on the world through cutting-edge tools and resources to take their innovations from digitalization to realization.
We had the opportunity to see the innovation and inspiration firsthand at our inaugural startup bootcamp! The three-day bootcamp took place, February 1st – 3rd, at the Mendix Headquarters in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The bootcamp was offered as a prize following Stage Two, the first pan-European competition for promising startups emerging out of leading European universities.
The three startup participants AniML, Boxxy and Untap joined us for entrepreneurship training and business development coaching from Siemens Innovation Ecosystem, low-coding with Mendix and product design and development training with Solid Edge.
This bootcamp gave us the opportunity to showcase the benefits of our tools but also gave us the opportunity to learn from the startups. We saw firsthand how quickly our software can be leveraged and also gained valuable feedback on how the startups plan to continue using Solid Edge and Mendix moving forward.
