Education and Academia 4.0 at Hanover Fair

The recent Hanover Fair was one of the world’s largest trade fairs with approximately 6,500 exhibitors and more than 250,000 visitors. Held in Hannover, Germany, this fair covers all areas of industrial technology, attracts an international audience and is one of the important fairs to demonstrate new technology development.

At the Siemens booth were our colleagues from the German Academic Team to discuss with educators about key trends in education and digitalization. There was great interest in our overall scope to address Industry 4.0 and also in our solutions like the Mechatronics Concept Designer, our still growing Simulation Portfolio, the CAD-CAM-CNC process, and how we support Additive Manufacturing.

As the digital transformation of the producing economy is gaining momentum, it is even more important to prepare the next generation of digital talent.
