Preparing the next generation of engineers thru real-world competition PACE

The separation of time zones added to complexity, but did not hold back teams at the recent PACE Global Annual Forum. Drawing 423 attendees from 54 PACE institutions from 12 countries, the forum was co-hosted by the University of Cincinnati, Siemens PLM Software and General Motors and focused on “Global Mobility Challenges and Solutions”. The attendees benefited from pre-conference training, NX Certification opportunities, technical sessions, project competitions, and keynote presentations by GM and Siemens PLM. This article takes a deep dive into how one team worked to solve real-world challenges.
