AMGTA profiles Siemens for their Member Spotlight series
As part of their ongoing monthly Member Spotlight profile series, the Additive Manufacturing Green Trade Association (AMGTA) has profiled Siemens in February.
The AMGTA is an association of companies who’s purpose is to research the environmental impact of additive manufacturing, and to educate the public about the environmental advantages of additive manufacturing. Through benchmarks, studies, and research, the AMGTA promotes the adoption of AM as an alternative to traditional manufacturing and helps to develop best practices for additive manufacturing to encourage wider adoption.
Siemens has a long history of work in the sustainability area, and our participation in the AMGTA is a continuation of those efforts. Additive manufacturing is one part of the wider world of manufacturing where sustainability is a consistent topic of investment, research, and emphasis. In our profile, I discuss those subjects with the AMGTA along with an overview of how software can help in maximizing the sustainability of additive manufacturing.
