Embedded software video blog about the C keyword static

My latest video blog is now available. I am talking about the C keyword static and its different, rather confusing, meanings. You can see the video here or here:

Future video blogs will continue to look at topics of interest to embedded software developers. Suggestions for topics are always welcome via comment, email or social networking.

  • The header is rather confusing – you’re talking about static in C, but give a sample about static field in a class. Change C to C++ 🙂

  • Thanks for this wonderful brief over static keyword. But I think as an embedded software engineer knowing the use of keywords “volatile” &”const” along with their correlation when used together is equally important.
Hence I would like to see brief about those as well.
    -thanks
