Dynamic Designer at Solid Edge University

If you use Simply Motion in Solid Edge, you are using some software from our technology partner Design Simulation Technologies.Their Dynamic Designer can actually do more than this.I stopped by their booth at Solid Edge University to take a look.

Solid Edge is great for evaluating “form” and “fit” of your product, but what about “function”? This is where Dynamic Designer fits in.It does motion simulation and quite a bit more depending on the level of the product you buy.

With Dynamic Designer, users can understand the physics behind their model.  Determine displacement, velocity acceleration, force, energy and momentum, to name a few.  Check for moving interferences, create motion trajectory paths, and save videos of complex animations.
