PLM Connection Japan Part 2

I saw on Jim Brown’s blog that Cyon Research just published their 2009 Survey of Engineering Software Users. While it notes many manufacturers have cut spending, it also reports companies still have an appetite for new technologies (our synchronous technology is mentioned along with some new tools from our competitors).

I’d bet a lot of what Cyon details in the report is similar to the trends our customers and development team discussed at PLM Connection Japan.

I shared the video from Tony already, but here are a couple more short reports from the event. Our CTO Chuck Grindstaff shares what he saw and heard.

Our VP of Teamcenter program management Dave Mitchell shares a little on Teamcenter 8 that he presented at the event.

I know one of the things our execs and developers love about user group events is the the direct customer interaction and feedback. So if any of our customers out there couldn’t attend these events, just drop us a comment below with any question you have for our team.

There are still PLM Connection events in Europe and Asia through the end of the year. And if budget cuts keep you from attending, stay tuned to our roving reporting blog posts.
