Announcing NX 7.0 with “HD3D” and enhancements to Synchronous Technology

Today in Paris at the Siemens PLM Connection Europe annual users conference we announced NX 7.0, the latest release of our NX software.

HD3D is one of the key new items in NX 7.0. HD3D is a new environment for delivering visual analytics and advanced navigation for PLM data. It enhances product design by delivering relevant PLM data directly to NX or Teamcenter. It provides a simple and intuitive way to collect, collate and present product information, where it can be immediately applied in critical decision-making.

Last year we launched Synchronous Technology to rave reviews. Now with NX 7.0 we are expanding our Synchronous Technology leadership. New “clean-up” tools enable faster and easier editing of models imported from third-party CAD systems. Our developers have also done additional case work to open up a range of new opportunities for CAE and CAM users to leverage CAD geometry from any source.
