CAD/PLM in the Classroom

One thing I really like about our user group conferences is the long-term connections created. Many years ago I met Paul Zang from Kettering University at a PLM Connection event. I’ve worked for a couple other companies (including PLM World) since then and my path has crossed Paul at every turn.

He has been in involved with our Academic SIG at the conference and continues to give back to the community. He attended my “Social Media in CAD/PLM” ppt at the conference and we spent some time talking about social media in the classroom.

Here’s a quick video clip on some of what he faces in the classroom teaching CAD/PLM and one of the takeaways he is taking home from the conference. (ignore the cleaning people coming into the room wink)
