As I mentioned in my first post, next week I pack up and head to Boston for our annual media and analyst event.  I have been to almost every one we have had dating back to 2001 when we held them in Plano.  In 2004 we moved to New York and this year we are moving again to Boston to the Hotel Intercontinental.  If you’re not coming to see us next week, never fear because I’ll be doing my best to keep you up to date with updates here and on twitter.

Things start-up Monday night with a quick practice session.  Ryan is coming with me to do some video of some of the presenters just to get a quick impression of what they are going to be talking about. We’ll be doing additional quick video interviews throughout the event and getting them up here as soon as they are done.  If there is anyone you want me to seek out and ask a specific question, just leave a comment or tweet me.

Things will get into high gear on Tuesday, May 20th with the morning executive presentations. I’m really looking forward to a real live demo of…well you’ll have to check on Tuesday to hear about that demo.  Interspersed with the exec presentations and demos will be some really interesting customer presentations in the machinery, consumer packaged goods industries and automotive industries.  Tuesday afternoon starts off with a talk on how Synchronous Technology will be making it’s way into our products.  I will summarize all these sessions here as each one is finishing up and there will be updates as they are in process on twitter.

Tuesday ends with one of the two product launches we are conducting at the meeting.  I will step it up a notch and be live blogging this, so if you just have to know what’s happening as it happens be sure to check back here out starting at 2:45 ET.  This is the session we are simul-casting a portion of in Second Life so there will be a number of ways to keep up.  You can watch the blog and have your avatar watch the presentation!

Wednesday starts with the second product launch of the event and another live blogging session so if you didn’t get enough on Tuesday, point your browser of choice back here at 8:15 AM ET on May 21st.  We’ll wrap up Wednesday with some additional product updates and all of it will be mashed-up with more great customers presentations from a measurement company, an engineering services firm and a second automotive manufacturer.

Should be a fun and busy week.  If there’s anything else you want to see us cover while we’re there (don’t think I can make it over to Fenway so that’s out), just drop me an email or leave a comment.
