Teamcenter MRO & Service Data Management

I am here at PLM Connection with my colleagues – Steve O’Lear, Dennis George and Tord Dennis. I will be posting their blogs. Steve O’Lear is responsible for Teamcenter MRO – Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul – solution. He has seen increased interest in MRO. Customers want to bring their service data under control, and leverage their engineering IPto improve margins and customer response time. Here is his blog from the floor of PLM Connection.

“Monday Teamcenter’s MRO solutions took center stage at Siemens PLM Connection user group meeting. Teamcenter customers got caught up current and soon to be released solutions. Service Data Management provides the core capabilities for asset lifecycle management to support other service function.

Service Request Management helps reactive service organizations to define standard service offerings, estimates for quoting work scope, and management of requests for service from initiation through approval and closure with reduction in time cycle and costs while improving service customer communication and satisfaction.”
