This week Siemens experts and partners will present at the Aircraft Airworthiness & Sustainment (AA&S) Conference and at the co-located Propulsion Safety and Sustainment (PS&S) Conference in Washington, DC. Here is a look at what’s to come:
The Aircraft Airworthiness & Sustainment (AA&S) Conference
The AA&S brings together senior individuals tasked with ensuring airworthiness of commercial and military aircraft systems and the sustainment of aging fleets, within both the military and commercial arenas. Conference presenters are selected from a wide range of key military and commercial sector leaders to deliver an unbeatable forum.
AA&S Technical Sessions
On Wednesday, the day kicks off at 8 AM with Dave Chan (Siemens Digital Industries) participating in the opening discussion forum entitled Current Challenges in Airworthiness and moderated by Mike Fox of Lockheed Martin. At 8:30 AM, Leigh Hudson (Siemens DI) will present on Integrated Composite Development for Optimization and Certification. Later in the afternoon, John Cunneen (Siemens DI) will cover Trends and Practices in Airworthiness Certification.
On Thursday at 10 AM, Tom Behrens (Siemens DI) will present Accelerating Airborne Software Compliance where he will discuss the importance of full traceability and collaboration, two key elements in the establishment of thorough testing procedures. At 4:30 PM, Pat O’Heron (Siemens DI) will discuss Accelerating Readiness with Integrated Structural Analysis. And at 5 PM, Chris Stecki of PHM Technology will present Why Model based RAMS is required to actualize CBM based on Big Data Analytics.
