The ZEOD RC (Zero Emission On Demand Race Car) at Hannover Messe 2014

Last August, we told you about the ZEOD RC (Zero Emission On Demand Race Car) in this blog. If you attended Hannover Messe 2014 on April 7-11, you were lucky enough to see the car in the Siemens Booth.

The RML Group, specialists in designing & building cars for global automotive brands, was approached by Nissan to help develop the NISSAN Zeod RC – an electric race car, able to go for one complete lap at race speed in the 2014 Le Mans 24hr race – fueled only by electricity.

Siemens was showcasing solutions that seamlessly integrate all phases of the value chain in the manufacturing industry, bring smart and sustainable infrastructure management to cities, and pave the way to a sustainable energy supply. Our “Future Forum” demonstrated how forward-looking Siemens technologies are breaking new ground in automation, electrification, and digitalization by connecting data, software, and industrial hardware.
