We at Siemens are always working on improving our software. This includes providing the best, most up-to-date help documentation with NX CAM to help you get started faster. Whether you are new to NX CAM or an experienced user looking for some guidance, we want to make it easier for you to quickly leverage its powerful capabilities. This is why we have implemented the Manufacturing Quick Courses (formerly called Day One, until NX 2206) and we want to hear from you about how we can make them better in our latest survey.
What are Quick Courses?
Available on the NX Welcome Page, the Manufacturing Quick Courses are a series of training material that is designed to get you started with NX CAM. Each course contains a concise video demo that shows you the basics, guided exercises for you to practice, and “on your own” challenges to help you build on what you have learned. It covers topics such as:
- Manufacturing Setup
- Mold & Die Machining
- Prismatic Machining
- Hole Machining
- Additive Manufacturing
- Multi-Axis AM
- Turning
