Create associative manufacturing models in NX CAM with Part Modules

Master Model use in Manufacturing

NX provides the CAD/CAM integration needed to build fully associative manufacturing models, including in-process models and fixtures. One way to build these associative setups in a single part file is to use the Part Modules function. Bryan Dreibelbiss presents this lesser-known modeling method and shows how to build the associative manufacturing models you need.

I've been focused on PLM CAM software, in one way or another, since 1992, which sounds like a very long time. I've written posts, done implementation and training, served as a product manager, and as a marketer. It has all been fun and I've met a lot of interesting people and seen a lot of interesting machine shops.
