“Following the Digital Thread” video series available now!

As mentioned in previous posts over the past two weeks, MIT Sloan Management Review and our partner Deloitte have teamed up to create a high quality and insightful video series called Following the Digital Thread

The video series brings the digital thread to life, from product design to production.  The series features Siemens’ software technology and Siemens employees, along with starring roles by our customer One Aviation, and our partner America Makes.

Each episode is less than 10 minutes long, but the entire series adds up to an entertaining and compelling story about the digital thread.  Throughout the series, we follow a single “bell crank” part as it undergoes a redesign for additive manufacturing.  Episodes 2-5 include segments showing powerful capabilities within Siemens NX such as design, topology optimization, and simulation.Along the way, we learn about the various steps in the digital thread from experts in the field, including several from Siemens.
