Siemens’ Chris Weber, Director of AM Portfolio Development, and Douglas Ramsey, Chief Development Officer, Hackrod, will present, “Industrializing Additive Manufacturing – Design and Produce Useful Parts at Scale,” during the one-day workshop.



Siemens, along with an ecosystem of industry-leading partners, develops digital innovation software solutions for industrial additive manufacturing (AM) and uses these tools to design, produce, and repair high performing parts for gas turbine engines. During the presentation, Siemens will share achievements, benefits, and insights into industrializing AM along with a vision focused on enabling the manufacturing industry to industrialize AM for design and production of useful parts at scale.  Our partner, the digital industrial start-up, Hackrod, will share a vision for design and AM driving the last mile to realize the full potential of industry 4.0.Hackrod will provide a platform for combining digital technologies, including AM, IoT, VR/AR, and generative design, showing how designers, manufacturers and connected supply chain can realize the products of their dreams or needs.  The Siemens and Hackrod presentation will be delivered at 10:00am.
