Surviving and thriving in times of seismic change

With the global COVID-19 pandemic we realize change is inevitable but so often hard to predict.  Manufacturers are experiencing massive changes in their supply chains, significant changes to the demand for their products, changes in the availability of materials, and changes in the short-term availability of the people that work for them.  These current changes will have a significant financial impact on manufactures with many current manufacturers not being in business 5 years from now while others will transform into market leaders.  Mike Liddell, CEO of Lean Scheduling International and author of “The Little Blue Book on Scheduling” explains how having the right tools in place allows manufacturers to be agile in the face of unexpected change, making adjustments in the midst of change with greater certainty of the outcome.
