Passionate Customers

During my 30 years or so in the CAD/CAM/CAE world, it’s been my experience that software development folks are generally reserved and somewhat quiet personalities. They are not usually prone to hyperbole or excess enthusiasm and are quite tough to please as customers.

That’s why I was pleasantly surprised at the recent PLM Components Conference to learn that Parasolid and D-Cubed have a very enthusiatic and passionate customer base. There were 13 non Siemens speakers from various industries and countries. All of them were very upbeat and positive about their investment in Parasolid and D-Cubed. Their presentations are available on this site and contain a wealth of information regarding the types of innovations that can be accomplished with a software architecture that incorporates PLM Components.

Two of the speakers, Jon Hirschtick from Onshape and Jon Stevenson from Stratasys also provided  video testimonial about Parasolid and D-Cubed earlier this year, while they were attending COFES. They are joined in the video by John Miller from Solid Edge, also a PLM Components customer. Together, these three gentlemen provide an enthusiastic endorsement of Parasolid and D-Cubed.

It’s very gratifying to hear this sort of praise from these customers…. so, a tip of the hat to the entire Parasolid and D-Cubed development teams for decades of  hard work and quality software.
