Another success for Polarion Software! What went down at STARWEST 2012

Polarion exhibited at StarWest 2012 in Orange County, CA. It was a successful event with many attendees interested in Test Management. Polarion QA was well received, attracting attendees with its ease of use, affordability, and simple integration with the software tools they already use.

Significant themes and trends this year include:

1. Increase in desire to integrate test automation with test management. There is a distinct need to have the ability to better manage test automation results with a more robust software tool.


2. Significant increase in device mobility testing. Many exhibitors were offering mobile device testing solutions focused primarily on performance and UI testing. This is a perfect complement for Polarion QA, where tests can be performed for iOS and Android devices while results and related testing activities can be managed from our central testing platform.


3. In the tradition of Polarion, we also participated in the Technical presentation category, “Integrating QR Codes with Testing.” Polarion QA Product Manager Regg Struyk highlighted how QR codes can be used to maximize collaboration and efficiency in a testing environment. Lastly, congrats to our XBOX prize draw winner, Shara Suhasini! We also contributed to the conference prize giveaways with an Amazon gift card and a Polarion polar bear mascot.
