It is with great excitement that we announce the following news — Polarion Software was chosen as the 2013 “Tool Challenge” winner at Software Quality Days and received the event’s “Best Quality Tool Award 2013.”Held January 15-17 in Vienna, Austria, Software Quality Days is the biggest event in Austria and the second biggest in Europe on software quality.

This is the second consecutive year that Polarion has won this prestigious award.Once again, we faced tough competition, beating out Microsoft and IBM, who came in second and third place.Other participants included Micro Focus and Tricentis.

To win the “Tool Challenge,” companies prepare a short presentation with three use cases and then present their solution in front of a special jury and the conference audience. The “smartest solution” is selected by the jury and conference attendees who vote for the best product presentation and solution implementation. The selection panel was particularly impressed by how easy it was to use the tool and follow the demo.

This year, the three use cases covered impact analysis, test execution, and baselining. Receiving the overall votes, we were able to successfully defend our “Best Quality Tool Award 2012” title.

Polarion would like to thank the selection panel for the award and for recognizing the strength of our solution, which was presented by Tim Ströbele, Manager of Professional Services at Polarion Software.
