Siemens Xcelerator Share helps your simulation workflow stay integrated with your customers
Difficult to stay in-synch
As a supplier to a large manufacturer, you often need to coordinate simulation efforts between your development and your customer’s team. Sending files back and forth through file transfer sites is messy and inefficient. It’s easy to lose track of which files are being sent back and forth. It’s even harder to ensure you are using latest design variant. You need a better way to stay integrated with your customer’s development processes.
Xcelerator as a Service
Last September, Siemens Digital Industries Software introduced Siemens Xcelerator as a Service which connects Siemens Xcelerator porftolio to the cloud. You can now bring your collaboration experience to the next level.
As part of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, Simcenter 3D, a comprehensive, fully-integrated CAE solution, also now leverages Siemens Xcelerator as a Service (XaaS) capabilities that can let you more efficiently stay integrated with your customers’ engineers using Siemens Xcelerator tools.
Siemens Xcelerator Share in Simcenter 3D
Access Siemens Xcelerator Share right from within your Simcenter 3D environment to get access to files placed there by your customer. For example, they might require a design change which they can send to you from NX via Siemens Xcelerator Share. You can then grab that design change directly in Simcenter 3D, simulate, evaluate and iterate on your results. Your team can focus on the tasks at hand and work with confidence knowing Siemens Xcelerator Share’s file management process is ensuring you’re using the right files. You can then send your recommendations and files back to your customer through Siemens Xcelerator Share.
Cloud-Connected
Being a cloud-collaboration solution, all contributors can access project data from web-enabled devices as well by using the Siemens Xcelerator Share web client. You can control access levels and user roles using as necessary using the admin settings. This reduces all of the external manual steps that you may have been following before and streamlines collaboration with your customer.
