The Age of Simulation-Driven Design is Here

By Dung_H

WELCOME! You made it to the age of simulation-driven design — where simulation takes precedence.

Earlier this year, I touched on the trend of leveraging simulation to speed up product development and engineering, which includes simulation-driven design (see prediction #4). However, what exactly is simulation-driven design? It is the use of simulation early in the design process. Rather than using simulation as one of the last steps to evaluate and validate your final designs, you can now begin your creations with simulation which will allow you to synthesize and define the physical design. This process will help you meet cost, time-to-market, and quality targets.

Watch this video for a quick introduction to simulation-driven design:

This is the first blog post of a five-part series that will be released every other Tuesday over the next several weeks. Some topics we’ll later cover include the benefits of simulation-driven design, demos, and how to optimize your experience within the environment, so make sure you come back on May 1st!

Too eager to wait until then? Feel free to get ahead of the game by watching this webinar.
