Femap Tips & Tricks: Enveloping Results

With ever increasing model sizes, the amount of results data calculated and produced by the solver also increases in proportion. So with more and more results data to sift through, it becomes increasingly important to be able to view and understand the results quickly and efficiently.

This tips and tricks video explores a couple of tools available in Femap postprocessing that create a subcomponent of a larger model and perform results enveloping allowing you to quickly get a sense of the maxima or minima output values and the contributing load cases for a particular results type.
