About the Author:
Pavel Goncharov wrote the book while he was head of Siemens’ CAE Center of Excellence in Russia. Prior to joining CAE at Siemens PLM Software six years ago, Pavel worked as a CAE consultant for numerous international companies. He was the lead analyst on the 787 program at Boeing, and he was an engineer for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) program at the Scientific Research Institute of Electro-Physical Apparatus. He has a Master of Science degree in Applied Mechanics from St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University as well as a Master’s degree in composites materials.
