Welcome to the next generation of Simcenter users

During the  Simcenter Conference 2019, we met the next generation of engineers using simulation for either their research work or master’s degree class projects. Chantel, Thomas, José and Roman won their free tickets by answering an easy question: “Tell and show us in a short video or a picture with a short description why you think that mastering a Simcenter solution will help you after graduation”.

At the event, each of them presented what they were able to do with  Simcenter software, covering a wide range of applications. If you didn’t get a chance to attend the conference or to meet them over there, here is an overview of their presentations and feedback

José Pastor is a master’s degree student at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. He uses Simcenter Amesim to model electro-mechanical systems and estimate energy consumption in order to apply energy analytics for optimizing asset set-up and thus energy consumption.

Learn how José enjoyed his first conference and attended sessions about different industries where he has been able to nurture his knowledge from different professionals about various applications

Thomas Jadoul is a master’s degree student at ISMANS, France. He uses Simcenter SAMCEF to create a link between CAD and numerical analysis on a connecting rod. Download his presentation:

Discover how this event has been a great opportunity for Thomas to network with his peers

Roman Romaniuk is a PhD student at Moscow Polytechnic University, Russia. He uses Simcenter FLOEFD to propose a better design for a secondary air flow dust collector. Download his presentation:

Listen to Roman explains why attending such a conference is a good opportunity to connect with experts from test and simulation fields

Chantel Niebuhr is a PhD student at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She uses Simcenter STAR-CCM+ for hydropower CFD simulation. Download her presentation:

See how like Chantel you can take advantage of a future Simcenter student contest to enjoy all the benefits of our conference.
