Siemens PLM Software and Bentley Systems formed partnership

Siemens PLM Software and Bentley Systems recently announced a collaboration agreement to integrate product, process and factory infrastructure solution. Siemens PLM Software leads the industry in product design and manufacturing process information solutions, whereas Bentley Systems is recognized for their factory infrastructure design solutions.

The Bentley Systems solutions portfolio includes: MicroStation and a comprehensive portfolio of applications such as AECOsim Building Designer for 3D building and infrastructure design.

Dick Slansky from ARC talked about extensively about this partnership.  He mentioned in the article that this integrated workflow will provide OEMs with the ability to define, model, and simulate both production systems and the factory infrastructure housing these production systems in a common integrated digital environment.
