3D printing is turning green with positive environmental impacts

The way we design and manufacture products today is on the verge of an exciting new tomorrow. What’s changing? Additive manufacturing, or 3D printing, is providing faster, cost-effective solutions to traditional printing. Moreover, it’s environmentally friendly, enabling manufacturers to reduce waste, use less energy, and create products that are lighter, more efficient and more recyclable.

Brain Neff, CEO of Sintavia, an aerospace manufacturing component company in South Florida, discusses how the next 20 years will be witnessing an amazing impact on the 12 trillion-dollar global manufacturing footprint environmentally.  His company additively manufactures commercial aerospace applications, which is an industry ripe for proactively adopting and embracing the environmental benefits of additive manufacturing, including eliminating waste, providing sustainability and avoiding high-failure rates.
