Join us at DVClub Boston
As a longstanding sponsor of DVClub events around the world, we are pleased to share the news that we now sponsor DVClub North America events. The next DVClub will be held on July 31th at the Westford Regency – 219 Littleton Rd, Westford, MA 01886 – from 11:30am – 1:30pm.
At the Boston event, Mentor’s Tom Fitzpatrick has a presentation titled “Portable Stimulus: Evolution to Revolution (a.k.a. Don’t Panic) prepared for you. Besides his role at Mentor that keeps him close to the implementation of the standard, he also serves as the Accellera Portable Stimulus Working Group vice chair to keep the standard on a timely track. If you don’t know a lot about Portable Stimulus, Tom’s presentation is geared for those new to Portable Stimulus too.
- Presentation Abstract:
Many claim the new Portable Test and Stimulus Standard. (PSS) from Accellera will ignite the next revolution in SoC and Electronic System functional verification. Sometimes the prospect of revolution can be scary. While PSS will require the adoption of some new tools and a (partial) re-education of verification engineers, we can rely on those immortal words from the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: Don’t Panic. This presentation will introduce you to the PSS Standard and show how you can use it to augment, not replace, your existing verification environment to take an evolutionary path to the revolutionary power of Portable Stimulus.

New to Portable Stimulus?
For those doing design verification today, you have all the needed knowledge to learn from the DVClub presentation. But if you want to know a bit more about Portable Stimulus before attending DVClub, I would suggest you view the updated Portable Stimulus Basics course at Verification Academy.
We look forward to see you in Boston!
